March's Mid week Menu- Taco Soup

I grew up eating this next meal.  It has become a favorite easy meal.

Taco Soup

1 lb. hamburger
2-8oz. cans tomato sauce
1-15oz.  can diced tomatoes
1-16oz. can corn (drained)or 2 cups frozen
1-16oz. can green beans (drained)
1 medium onion diced or 3 Tbsp. Dried onion
1-16oz. can black beans
2-16oz. cans kidney beans
1/2 pkg. Taco seasoning mix or to taste

Brown hamburger with onion-if fresh.  Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, 1-2 cups water and taco seasoning.  Simmer 5-10 minutes.  Add beans and corn.  Simmer another 10 minutes.  Serve with grated cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips for dipping.  Enjoy!  This one has lots of leftovers too.  Always a plus in our household.
