It's My Birthday Week! {Giveaway}

In our house birthdays are a big deal.  I go all out on the cake for the kids.  I like to do pinatas, and banners, and do fun cupcakes for the kids at school.  JBody and I celebrate for the whole week leading up to the big day.  Well this year is no different.  No I don't make a cake for myself, or banners, and pinatas.  But I am celebrating here on the blog.  This year it is the big 3-0!  I am turning 30.  Last year I was not happy about this, but I am actually looking forward to leaving the 20's and moving into my 30's.

To celebrate I have decided to host a giveaway.  Did you see the cute birthday countdown at the begining of the post?  I just finished making it.  And it is what I am giving away.  Well either this one or one similar.  I've made 2.  This one and one with similar colors.  The other will be given away too, but on a friends blog to celebrate her birthday!  That giveaway starts tomorrow.  You can try your luck with BOTH giveaways!  How great is that?  I celebrate and you get the present.  Good luck with the giveaway and don't forget to follow the rules.  Today's giveaway and tomorrow will have different rules.

To Enter:
Mandatory:  Tell me what you were or are excited or scared about turning 30.
Remember to leave a way for me to contact you.  If your profile or blog page don't have your email then leave one for me in the following format (positivelypeaches at gmail dot com)

Contest Ends on My Birthday: September 21st, 2011 at 10:03am (that is what time I was born)
I will do a random drawing and the winner will be announced (hopefully if all goes smoothly) the following day!

Sorry but entries are limited to U.S. addresses only.  I know bummer right?!

Be sure to comment seperately for each entry.  You must do the mandatory entry in order to do the extra entries.

I am so excited to share one of these with you.  It was fun to make and I love seeing it up on the self.  Yeah we celebrate 2 birthdays in September so it gets to stay up extra long.

Stay tuned because Razy celebrates her 4th birthday this month and starting Saturday the 17th I will be posting a weeks worth of fun little girl hairstyles with a giveaway on her birthday!

I was excited to turn 30 because, so many woman I admire seem to have it "together" in their 30's. My 20's were so challenging and I was happy to enter into a new phase of life where things do seem a bit easier. Even though I am only 31, I would much rather be 31 than 21. I hope I feel the same ten years from now! Cute gift by the way! You are clever!

Cute countdown !!! Happy Birthday week! Turning 30 was really hard for me. I didn’t think it would be hard for me at all. I think I had alot of things I wished I would have accomplished by thirty I think I had this vision of if your are 30your life is together LOL.

I am 39 now and turning 40 feels pretty good, I think. I will let ya know when June comes around. Happy Birthday!!

Well, I just turned 30 last April and actually my main concern was that I wanted to have the baby far enough from my birthday so she could have her own special day and not have to share with Mom. :) Thankfully she was a couple weeks earlier. Added bonus to that was it gave me someone else to think about and not worry about giving up my 20s. I don't feel much different then I did before so what's in a number anyway, right!?

I’m excited to live my thirties. My twenties were fun but I look forward to the knowledge and growth I will do with my family in my thirties. As my kids are getting a little older my experiences are getting more interesting and I look forward to every minute of it.

I'm looking forward to being 30 because I feel that perhaps I finally know something about life. Although I'm not happy about seemingly having more gray hair. hmm... that might be due to my boys more then turning 30

Happy Birthday girl!

I turn 30 next year, and I'm kinda nervous, because I still feel like I'm 16!

I had mixed emotions. 30 meant I wasn't young anymore. That is for 20 somethings. BUt then again, it meant I was really an adult. Right? :) lol
So funny how we get ideas about age. In reality I don't feel(emotionally) much different at 35 than I did at 25.
Happy Birthday to all this week!

I'm not quite near thirty yet, but I think I'd just be scared that the things I want to happen might not (if I haven't done them by that point yet...) :)

I just turned, ugh, 40! I would love to go back to 30! Yeah! I've noticed a few extra lines and things aren't exactly where I think they are supposed to be (if you know what I mean) Darn gravity! Happy Birthday to you!

I thought turning 30 would be hard but it wasn't. I realized only a few days before I was in my 20's and feeling the same and doing the same things so it finally occured to me that it really doesn't matter about the number. Turning 40 was better because then I thought I am still doing things that I want to do and I am 40!

I was a little sad to turn 30, because my 20s were so much fun.

Turning 30 didn't upset me, I was pretty much just getting my life 'together' & figuring out what I wanted to do after the kiddos started school ((1955nursehjc4me(at)myway(dot)com)) ;-)
