How to Dye an Easter Egg 101

Step 1: Choose your egg. Make sure it is the whitest and brightest egg in the bunch. Oh, and don't forget to make it a hard boiled egg. Lil' E is demonstrating this very nicely.

Step 2: Select a color crayon from your crayon box (pinks, purples, blues, greens, and yellows make great Easter colors). Lil' E has very carefully chosen a magenta crayon.

Step: 3 Begin coloring on your white and bright egg. Be extremely careful not to break the egg. Eggs are very fragil and tend to break very easy.

Step 4: Place your egg into a cup with Easter egg dye. Try making the colors vibrant by adding vinegar to the mix. This step takes talent. It can be very messy so try not to let the egg splash when placed into the cup.

Step 5: Be Patient. If you want a bold color you have to be willing to wait.

Step 6: Remove the egg from the dye and examine it's color. If it is the right color remove it. If not repeat steps 4 and 5.

Step: 7 Place finished egg into an egg carton and repeat each step with another egg.

Tip: If you are too young, or just don't have what it takes to dye an egg, grab a large candy stick and watch everyone else do the work.

Where are we now?

So I am going to start the blog thing. I signed up a couple of months ago, but didn't have the patience to try and figure it all out. I've decided that now is as good of time as any.

So where are the wd now. D.J. just graduated in December of 06. Yeah! We are no longer students. We are currently in , a little town in Washington. D.J is working at a wonderful Chiropractic office and Peaches is at home with the boys. Lil' E and Doble (Double in spanish) keep their mommy busy. It seems like they are constantly sick since we moved. Hopefully sickness is behind us and we can enjoy the approaching summer. Doble is turning 1 in a week and a half. I don't know where this last year went. He still seems too much like the baby to be turning one. Lil' E will be 3 in a month. He is getting so big. It is so weird to think that our little family is growning up. We are expecting our third child early october (hopefully late september). Well that is us for you in a nutshell. Hopefully I use this site often enough to really keep you posted on the fun and exciting things that take place for us.
